Born in L’Aquila (“The Eagle”), Adriano de Matteis spent his childhood in Abruzzo, Pakistan, and Canada. Returning to Milan, he graduated with a degree in mathematics that included writing a thesis on compositional techniques used by Igor Stravinsky. Today Adriano works in the insurance field, and spends a little less time in airports and airplanes, where he often collected the ideas and words to write “The Wounded Eagle”.
Adriano De Matteis è nato a L’Aquila. Trascorre la propria infanzia tra Abruzzo, Pakistan e Canada. Approdato a Milano si laurea in matematica, con una tesi sulle tecniche compositive di Igor Stravinsky. Oggi lavora in campo assicurativo e trascorre un po’ meno tempo negli aeroporti e sugli aerei, dove ha spesso raccolto le idee e le parole dei suoi primi romanzi: “L’AQUILA FERITA” e “L’attaccante cieco”.”
